December

I'm finishing up a couple of quilts here but in the meantime I have pictures of two gifts. Both to my snowman loving friend, the one from last year and then this year's.
The first was a blogging gift from Quilt Hollow that I won in her giveaway last year. It is a pattern by Red Button Quilt Co that included some cute snowman buttons.

This year I found a Sweetwater pattern on Etsy and made a snowman tablerunner.  Not as quick and easy as I anticipated ;-) but it was kind of fun.

So as the holiday is moving forward this year I hope you all are feeling loved and cherished as you connect with friends and family. The verse out of the Bible that caught my attention this year is a prophecy in Isaiah 7:14 of the birth of Jesus. "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Immanuel means 'God with us". I'm praying that we all know that joy of experiencing God with us as we make room for Him in our hearts.
I'm linking up with Sarah from Confessions of a Fabric Addict. Go check out her post for quilty inspiration!
