We have one purchased in the 80's as a piece of furniture, still in use today as a side table. I never did "read" on Google Reader so its demise didn't worry me too much but I followed everyone else and tagged on BlogLovin just to be sure.
I love your old sewing machines. I'm sewing on my Singer 201K knee-shifter at the moment participating in Quilting Gallery "Aiming for Accuracy" quilt-along. It's lovely to use the old machines and yes, I agree... they do sew a beautiful and true straight stitch.Helen McNaught @ AuntyHennyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15311540720249552211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4496570732346599794.post-46975432669217801402013-07-03T02:01:41.167-07:002013-07-03T02:01:41.167-07:00I read you this morning in Feedly...love your mach...I read you this morning in Feedly...love your machine...so pretty!
Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05740642815128986086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4496570732346599794.post-2985617335360165132013-07-03T00:40:04.139-07:002013-07-03T00:40:04.139-07:00Wow so beautiful xxxWow so beautiful xxxcuckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11650071456271781518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4496570732346599794.post-3056960882239070322013-07-02T21:36:15.816-07:002013-07-02T21:36:15.816-07:00I have a Sphinx Singer 127 like the one you showed...I have a Sphinx Singer 127 like the one you showed. I bought it from a lady that brought it back to the States from England. I had it serviced and it sews. But I don't like the small bobbin. I saw on the Martelli website that Jenome has a modern machine that runs with a treadle instead of electric. I was interested, but the cost was not in my budget right now.
