Three cheers

Ever get a good way into a book or movie and wonder how they came up with the title? This blog post title is mentioned towards the end. But for those of you that love pictures of pets, here are some of one of mine.

We have dog beds tucked into most rooms of our house. The dogs are protected from getting walked on and we enjoy the comfort of them resting wherever we happen to be. This shows Sandy sleeping underneath the desk here in my sewing room. She was kind enough to wake up and give me a look for the camera. Sandy is probably the sweetest one in our household. The rest of us are a little more self centered and touchy.

I'm working away on Psalms blocks and here's the one I sewed this week.
I watched the video I mentioned with the pressing tips but am still not too impressed with my I will NOT be showing the reverse side of this block :-)
For Psalm 71, this is a block called Three Cheers. Not the best name, I don't think, but I like the design. Verse 8 "Let my mouth be filled with Thy praise and with Thy honour all the day."

  1. I'm a real sucker for all living creatures and she is such a sweetie....a face any momma would love.

  2. Ahhh, Sandy does look like a sweetheart. I think I have a new favorite Psalm block.

  3. Great job on the block! And you have an adorable doggy. :)

  4. That is a really cute block! and a cute dog too!!

  5. Sandy is SO sweet :)

I love when the cats are close by too, now that the weather is cooler they may actually sit with me again hehe

  6. Sweet doggies and adorable block. I love the verse too.

  7. That is a great idea about the doggie beds in each room, our little one usually ends up in our lap! Your block and verse are both wonderful!
