A big Thank you to all of you that have made blogging fun, inspiring and a community. To celebrate, I'm hosting a giveaway (and doing some shameless promotion) of cute pin cushion patterns. These are not just any pin cushions...they are tomatoes, pumpkins and spiced pears designed by a friend that I met through Melanie of Crazy About Quilts. Rana of Pieces of Rana's Life has a fairly new pattern company offering designs for quilts, totes and these sweet little notions. Check out more of her patterns at Sewn into the Fabric
For the giveaway, I'm offering one kit (pattern, walnut filler, and some fabric to use) for each of 3 winners. So join me in celebrating blogging by leaving a comment on this post and mention which one you would like. If you care to make the replies extra fun to read, please let me know something you like about where you live. Next Monday I will pick three names (prolly using the handy random number generator) and announce those who will win a pattern and kit.
These are sew cute! I liked them so well that I went and ordered them for download!
ReplyDeleteBut please enter me in your give-a-way, I have a few friends who would LOVE these pincushions!
And a "local" designer ... how SPECIAL is that??!!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Hugs,
Elaine in SLO, Ca (America's Happiest City)
This are darling little pincushions....wishing your friends much success!
ReplyDeleteI'm not here for the giveaway but to congratulate you....it has been fun getting to know you!
I've always admired those pear pincushions from afar...would love to have my own! congrats on making it over 100!
ReplyDeleteOur border town here in northern Maine is having it's International Snowmobile Festival this weekend...600 miles of trail on both sides of the border. I've never done it, but people are already driving in to participate.
The pincushions are precious but I really like the bird sitting among the pumpkins! The pear pincushion would be my choice.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I can see the ground now after 3 weeks of snow, it's all covered with ice today. Despite that, Columbus is a wonderful midwestern town. Come for a visit!!
See you in a little over a month with the other sewing crazies who visit in March. Margaret
These pincushions are way cute! Congrats on hitting 100 posts.
ReplyDeleteFrom Augusta, GA...the Southern town that makes it on the map for one week a year (at least for golfers!)
Congratulations on your 100th post, thats quite an acomplishment!!!! Good for you !!!:-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute patterns and they would look lovely with my pincushion collection. Living in the Sonoran Desert is so fun because of the winters---now that was a no brainer! But really, I like it because my yard work is so minimal. I leave it native and really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 101 posts! These are SO cute. The pumpkins are adorable. I am a Florida girl ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet giveaway! I admire people that can design anything, much less something so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love teh pear one especially.
I live in Central Oregon and I love it because we get an average of 10" of precipitation a year! That's rain and snow!! I grew up in Seattle and do not miss the rain.
Congrats Loris! Very cute pincushions! I can't pick a favorite. I like being a California girl, close to the beach, mountains, desert, forests, we have it all.
ReplyDeleteI will try to distract myself from cleaning and organization and the snow....but dreaming of a new pin cushion....because I love pinchusions...but you knew that. I'd love to win the kit....lets see what the ole Random Number Generator has to say about that becoming a reality...LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for cheering me up!
Kelly
I like the pin cushion in the top photo on the left side with green polka dots. I am in SW Iowa and we have SNOW!! Sounds like just about everyone does. I would hate to be in Chicago if they got what was being predicted last night.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you! Blogging has brought so many great people in the world together, hasn't it!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the pincushions...but I think the pear would be a favorite. ;-) Thanks so much for the offer, Loris.
Hmm...North Dakota. As crazy as it sounds and as frigid as we've been, I still see such beauty outside my window. The sky scenes have always been and probably will always be my favorite thing about North Dakota.
Congratulations on your 101st post! The pincushions are very cute. No need to add me to the giveaway. I'm just here to say Hello! :0) Happy quilting!
ReplyDeleteWell, this is sure a nice turnabout! Wish I could say you'll win my giveaway, and then I'll win your giveaway! Happy 100th! It's a nice reason to celebrate. Those pear pin cushions are as cute as can be. I'm off now to check out "Sewn into Fabric." Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteOH, those are such sweet pincushions. Congrats to the winners. I see Linda was one of them. I hate that I missed out.
ReplyDeleteDon't miss out on my giveaway I will be posting tomorrow.
